Psychotherapeutic Coach – specialising in Divorce, PTSD, and anxiety management.
Hello and Welcome!
My name is Rita. I am a Solution-Focused Psychotherapeutic Coach. It’s a bit of a mouthful, but if you are looking for a modern take on therapy, with the emphasis on finding solutions, then you have come to the right place.
I have been in private practice since 2011 and helped well over a thousand people, with various issues, to feel better more quickly— with my training in Breakup and Divorce Coaching, Counselling, Hypnotherapy, NLP, Life Coaching, and Psychotherapy.
Specialising in Divorce, Anxiety, and PTSD
While I work with a wide range of issues, I have a particular interest in supporting those navigating the emotional challenges of divorce, managing anxiety, and overcoming PTSD. As part of my commitment to helping those affected by trauma, I work with PTSD Resolution, a charity providing therapy for veterans, reservists, and their families. I also have experience of working as a therapist for Victim Support.
Are You Feeling Stuck in the Past or Overwhelmed by the Present?
Do you ever feel burdened by past experiences, stressed by the demands of today, or uncertain about what the future holds? These feelings can be exhausting, but you don’t have to face them alone. I offer a modern, empathetic, and non-judgemental approach to therapy, designed to help you address these challenges with practical, solution-focused strategies. Together, we can identify and meet your emotional needs, allowing you to heal and move forward from issues such as stress, anxiety, depression, anger, or addiction.
A Space Where You Can Truly Be Heard
It’s important to me that every session provides the time and space you need to feel supported and understood. That’s why I offer 60-minute sessions, giving us ample opportunity to explore your concerns without feeling rushed. Through this personalised approach, you’ll feel empowered to uncover what’s holding you back and take meaningful steps towards a brighter future.
Calm and Control Without Reliving Trauma
If you’re dealing with PTSD or distressing memories, I understand how difficult it can be to talk about those experiences. That’s why my methods don’t require you to share the details of your trauma. You can expect to leave each session feeling calmer, more grounded, and more in control—perhaps for the first time in a long while. To complement this process, I also offer an optional guided imagery exercise at the end of each session, providing an additional boost of emotional calm and relief.
Ready to Take the Next Step?
If you’re tired of simply talking about your struggles without finding real solutions, now is the time to take action. I offer a free, no-obligation consultation to help you decide if my approach is the right fit for you. Whether you’re facing stress, trauma, or uncertainty, I’m here to help you move forward with clarity and confidence.
Testimonials
PreviousI just wanted to email and say thank you again for our latest session. I had a full blown panic attack today in Covent Garden, but I was able to quell it in under 5 minutes by using the safe space technique we’ve worked on. It got my breathing under control almost immediately and I was able to wipe my eyes and carry on pretty much straight away. Your sessions have honestly improved my quality of life and I’ll be forever grateful for that!

For many years I have lived with depression and anxiety. I went to see Rita to see if she could help with the lack of confidence and self esteem I had. Plus the negative feelings I had towards myself. She listened and taught me techniques to recognise when I was doing this and accepting myself for who I am with no fear. I wish I’d done this years ago. Rita is very supportive, listens and tailors the session to my needs depending on the week I’ve had. I can’t thank Rita enough.

Over-dreaming
Research shows that depressed people dream much more than non-depressed people, distorting the balance between recuperative slow-wave sleep and energy-burning dream sleep. Clearly, because they spend so much time worrying and imagining, they …

Phobias, Panic Attacks and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
